Don't discount the old school

Today's warm up: band walks, floor press, dumbbell muscle snatch, and some good mornings. After that the ladies had 10x2 box squats working on form and speed out of the bottom. Women are quad dominant so this squat can be challenging for most at first, but we had it down this morning! Between sets of squats ladies had barbell bent over rows and curls. You read that right...CURLS with chains or a bar. There are so many people spend a year doing crossfit and then discount everything else they did before. Don't be one of those d-bags. I believe all lifts have their own place one time or another. When ever I do butterfly pull ups I have aching biceps. Maybe its because...they are weak. So, this morning I handed out some curls to the ladies to improve strength. I think they enjoyed it. 




Everyone was moving well and having fun. One of those mornings when you KNOW you are in the right place at the right time, doing what you LOVE!
